If you currently own a 50 or 100 watt tube head or combo amp and, you are not happy with the tone.
Or, the amp does'nt have enough overdrive for your tastes, we can modify the amp in a number of ways to get what you
want out of your amp. Obviously, this is not the 80's and you don't have to seek
out an "amp guru to the stars" to have a high gain, tone monster amp. There are a mind boggling plethora
of high gain amps out there today, most of them exellent, to amazing, that offer tons of versatility and tonal options.
but, they are quite expensive and rightfully so! To achieve great tone takes more than a good circuit design. The tone
equals the sum of the parts that comprise the amp, regradless of the circuitry. My point here, is that if you can afford that amp, by all means go and get it. On the other hand,
if you can't afford a high end "boutique" amp or, you have an already solid tube amp chassis, you can change the
circuitry to achieve almost any tone possible. You can add gain (overdrive), boost bass, remove bass, boost treble,
reduce treble, add mids, reduce mids, add headroom, make the amp overdrive easier at lower volumes etc. We offer three basic preamp overhauls. Please
inquire for tone tweaking as costs will depend on what you want to have done to the amp. All of these mods are intended for
50 and 100 watt Marshall, and similar chassis such as Fender, Carvin, Laney, and some Peavey amp heads or combos. There
may be others that apply, so please inquire.

more overdrive, crunch, and sustain, make the amp react a little "spongier" and sound more Plexi like,
without the addition of any extra preamp tubes. $250 SOUND CLIPS Amp: 78 Marshall 2204 MKll Master volume. Power tubes are Electro Harmonix 6550's. Guitar is a D'Innocenzo

Installation of the Soldano
SLO overdrive channel. This requires adding one or two preamp tube sockets, depending on the amp, and whether or not
you want the effects loop or not. This also involves some tweaking of the driver section. This mod can also be done as the
X88R lead channel, which is nearly identical to that of the SLO, with the exception of a few different capacitor, and resistor
values. The X88R lead channel has a slightly deeper, more modern sound than the SLO, but the gain structure is the same.
$400. With
effects loop $500
