Hello. My name is Vinny D'Innocenzo. Friends call me Dino. I made my first guitar repair at
the age of 13. I was given an old acoustic guitar with a broken neck by a friend. I repaired the neck, and since then, I have
been either repairing, buliding, or modifying my own guitars. My first electric guitar was a Kramer Focus. I
made a number of modifications to that guitar, such as changing the neck, swapping out the pickup, and routing the
body to recess the Floyd Rose. I began building guitars for myself because it seemed I either, could not get
exactly what I wanted from factory made guitars, or could not afford the guitars that had everything I wanted. It
came to a point where I could not get quite what I wanted from aftermarket parts companies. so, I took my 10 years experience
as a machinist and started making my own necks and bodies. Basically my tastes lean toward the Hot Rod Strats's that
where all the rage in the 80's ala' Charvel / Jackson and a few others. I started a side business under
the name Dino's Guitar and Amplifier Service in 2003. I have also been repairing and modifiying tube amplifiers
since 1999. I put a few of my necks and bodies on Ebay around 2006, and they where so well recieved, that word spread via
internet chat rooms and word of mouth and business took off! I really made my reputation with my work on necks. I had
been selling modifed Allparts Strat necks by taking the stock necks and modifying the very fat back profile to a thin San
Dimas Charvel / Jackson shape, and packaging that up with immaculate fret work, and a propritery oil finish. I then received
my first order for a complete guitar made from scratch with my parts and... D'Innocenzo Guitars was born!
